Last updated: June 2026. These terms may be updated periodically; continued use of SIPfy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the SIPfy website at sipfy.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and SIPfy, represented by its founder Bhanuprakash Sardesai, regarding your use of the Site and its content.
The Site is operated by Bhanuprakash Sardesai (referred to in these terms as "SIPfy", "we", "us", or "our"), a financial educator based in Hubli, Karnataka, India. You can reach us at brssardesai@gmail.com or +91 91087 52716 for any questions about these terms.
2. Description of service
SIPfy is a free, educational website offering (a) a collection of online SIP calculators that perform mathematical projections of Systematic Investment Plan returns and (b) a blog containing articles about SIP investing, mutual funds, taxation, and personal finance in India. The Site is provided as a static website (pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) hosted on Cloudflare Pages's free tier. There is no user account system, no server-side data processing, and no fee for using any feature of the Site.
The Site is funded entirely by clearly-labelled display advertising through Google AdSense. We do not earn commissions from any mutual fund house, investment platform, or financial product. The presence of advertising does not constitute an endorsement of the advertised products or services, and we are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
3. No financial advice
The most important section. Read it twice.
All content on SIPfy — including but not limited to the SIP calculators, blog articles, FAQ answers, and any other text, numbers, or visualisations — is provided strictly for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this Site constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or any other form of professional advice. SIPfy is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser, and Bhanuprakash Sardesai is not acting in the capacity of a registered investment adviser when publishing this Site.
The calculators on SIPfy are mathematical tools that show you the implications of inputs you provide. They do not predict future market returns, they do not recommend specific mutual funds or investment strategies, and they do not account for your personal financial situation. The assumptions used (such as expected return rates) are illustrative, based on historical data, and may not reflect future performance. Past performance of mutual funds does not guarantee future results.
Before making any investment decision, you should consult a qualified, SEBI-registered investment adviser who can assess your individual financial situation, risk tolerance, and investment objectives. You should also read the relevant scheme information documents, fact sheets, and other offering materials provided by mutual fund houses before investing. Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks; read all scheme-related documents carefully before investing.
4. Accuracy of calculations and content
SIPfy strives to ensure that all calculators perform their mathematical computations correctly and that all articles reflect current rules and regulations as of their published or last-updated date. However, we make no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any calculation or content on the Site. Mathematical formulas used in the calculators are standard textbook formulas and are correctly implemented, but the accuracy of any projection depends entirely on the inputs you provide and the validity of the assumptions made.
Indian mutual fund regulations, tax rules, and SEBI definitions change periodically. We update articles when we become aware of material changes, but we cannot guarantee that every article reflects the most current rules at the time you read it. Each article is date-stamped with its last-updated date; please treat older articles with appropriate scepticism and verify any tax-related or regulatory information against the current rules before acting on it.
If you spot an error in a calculation or an article, please contact us and we'll investigate and correct it promptly. We are grateful for user-reported corrections and acknowledge them in our update notes.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SIPfy, its founder, and any contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content. This includes but is not limited to damages for loss of profits, loss of investment capital, loss of data, business interruption, or any other commercial damages or losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You acknowledge that you use the calculators and read the articles at your own risk, and that any investment decisions you make are your sole responsibility. SIPfy does not hold your money, does not execute transactions on your behalf, and has no access to your investment accounts. Any financial losses you may incur as a result of investment decisions made after using SIPfy's calculators or reading its articles are entirely your responsibility.
6. Intellectual property
All content on SIPfy — including the calculator code, article text, design, layout, graphics, logos, and the "SIPfy" name and mark — is owned by Bhanuprakash Sardesai and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may view, download, and print content from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not: (a) reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, or otherwise exploit any content from the Site for commercial purposes without our prior written consent; (b) use the SIPfy name, logo, or other trademarks without our prior written permission; (c) frame, mirror, or scrape the Site; (d) use automated tools (bots, crawlers, scrapers) to extract content from the Site at scale, except for the RSS feed (if available) and search engine indexing.
If you wish to use content from SIPfy in a way that exceeds the personal-use permission above (for example, republishing an article on your own blog, using a calculator in a classroom setting, or quoting extensively in a research paper), please contact us for permission. We are generally generous with permissions for educational and non-commercial uses, but we ask that you ask first.
7. User conduct
When using SIPfy, you agree not to: (a) use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its server, or any database connected to the Site (note: there is no database, but the prohibition stands); (c) interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by introducing viruses, trojans, or other malicious code; (d) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the Site's JavaScript (you're welcome to read it via your browser's dev tools for educational purposes, but please don't copy it wholesale into a competing product); (e) use the Site to send unsolicited commercial communications; or (f) impersonate any person or entity, including SIPfy or its founder.
8. Third-party links and content
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, articles, tools, and services that are not owned or controlled by SIPfy. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. We do not endorse any specific third-party mutual fund, investment platform, financial product, or service that may be linked from or advertised on the Site. You acknowledge that SIPfy shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any third-party site or service.
Advertising displayed on the Site via Google AdSense is served by Google based on your browsing history and other factors. SIPfy does not control which specific ads are shown to you and does not endorse the products or services advertised. If you encounter an ad that you find misleading, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate, please report it to Google via their ad feedback mechanism, not to us.
9. Termination
SIPfy may terminate or suspend your access to the Site at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Use. Because the Site does not have a user account system, "termination" in practice means blocking your IP address from accessing the Site via Cloudflare. We will only do this in cases of clear abuse (bots scraping the site at scale, attempted DDoS, etc.) — ordinary users will never be blocked.
All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hubli, Karnataka, India, or such other court as may have jurisdiction under Indian law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The failure of SIPfy to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. By continuing to use the Site after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you should stop using the Site.
